Gym hair

Happy National fitness day.

We all know that we should incorporate some form of exercise in our life, whether it be a 20 min walk in the park or a 45 min hit workout because a healthy life is a great life. But doing it in glam mode is something I die for, I need to be able to look in the mirror mid-squat in pain and still look good. So having my hair in shape, (no pun intended) is a must. Remember, the gym is a lifestyle so having a hairstyle that makes it easier always helps.

Ponytails

Ponytails are a great style to have in the gym. This style allows me to focus on my workout without my hair getting in the way.

Simplicity is essential, when it comes to gym hairstyles & ponytails at Lorraine styles is our favourite style. Our go-to style is a slick-back barbie pony. This style is easy to maintain and can last a week or 2, even with intense workouts.

It’s a great protective style as all your ends will be tucked away and don't require manipulation, keeping your hair healthy. Especially when you deep condition your hair prior to styling. (which is something I hope your doing :) )

Braids.

Braids are another favourite gym hairstyle at Lorraine styles.

They're so versatile when it comes to styling. With knotless braids, you can wear it up in a ponytail when the workout is intense or style it down when you want to be in glam mode after the workout.
